Hi guys, I wanted to let you all know that our mom passed away peacefully last night around 8pm. We will be having a memorial service for her on Saturday, the 19th with a 1pm visitation and 2pm service at the Sheboygan Evangelical Free Church. You all have played a huge part in our lives over the past few years and I know she would tell you all thanks if she could. We would love to have you come visit with us and celebrate Karen if you can make it.

Thanks,
Josh

I am so very sorry to hear that your Mom has passed away, Josh.

My thoughts are with you.  I'll have a moment on Sat. to think about you and your family while I'm in Middleton during a basketball tournament.

Once again, I'm sorry, Josh.  I hope you're being strong and doing the best you can at this time.

So sorry to hear this Josh.  I was fortunate enough to hang with your mom at a race or two.  She was very proud of you as well as the rest of the gang.  I know it's tough but hang in there.  Hugs to you and the yours.

Josh,  Really sorry to hear about this.  As said before, your Mom was an awesome lady and always looked forward to seeing her smile at not just you guys but all of the Donkai nation at races.  She will missed.  Prayers for all of you.

Sorry Josh.  I really enjoyed racing with you in Lake Geneva.  Below is an excerpt from my race report from that day...I hope it makes you smile a little..

MUTRI and his brother JCOW were there at the finish, all young and full of vigor. I met their mom as well...what an AWESOME family. Mom there supporting her older kids, who are out doing cool shat like triathlon instead of sitting around in bars. Really neat to see, and props to those guys. Mom's a PT and was working on MUTRI on the spot. It was all I could do to fight the urge to shove him outta the way and have her stretch me out the way she was getting him loosened up, like a pro. ;)

aw Josh; I wish i could hug you. I think I met her before meeting you!!! Keep tight with your siblings during this time...have good crying sessions and hugs. She is now your guardian angel - because my mom is mine as well. xo

Josh, I am very sad to hear this. Your mom was such a caring, supportive, and genuine person. We will miss her so much.  I will see you tomorrow, stay strong. Sandi, Travis and I with Luke are riding together for her service. Unfortunately, Chris is unable to make it. The time is the same as Will's game which Chris coaches. Prayers are with you.

Josh I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I was also fortunate to spend time with your mom(and the rest of the family) during both j-hawk and Ironman. What an amazing woman and mother you were all blessed to have. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Josh - I am a few days behind, but wanted you to know how truly sorry I am for your loss.  Although I never had the pleasure of meeting your mom, it sounds as though she was one of a kind and incredibly proud of her kids.  My thoughts are with you and your entire family.
