I think that whoever does complete an IM and gets a tat, well, that's your skin - enjoy it. I don't feel that I need to mark up my body to note the accomplishment. My own opinion. |

I'm not sure which one I would prefer. I'm not doing a sactioned event until 2009. I'm doing the distance in June of 08 but will probably wait until I do an actual IM event before getting a tattoo. Actually it is a requirement stated in the waiver you sign. You agree to brand yourself with the IM logo to promote the event for an eternity. Did you miss that clause in the waiver? |

My first was in England when I was 19. I asked the guy if it would hurt. He said "it'll feel like hanging from the yardarms by your testicles." This as I looked over at my buddy with his head between his knees because he passes out by the sight of blood; especially his own. That was pretty funny.
