Awesome! Good for you holding a steady line. What did you shoot that with?

Thanks!!

I used a JVC Picsio early version, Ikelite housing, Iklite PRO-V8 Led/flood, INON 100 Wide angle Type 2. The turtle literally was less than an inch away from the lens when he turned. I can't honestly say I remember if the flood was on or not. We were in about 30 ft of water with real good visibility, 60 to 70ft.

Thanks.

I heard rumors that most of the critters out here that frequent COJ, had left for Australia just before Memorial Day weekend.

Great video.

Turtles don't care!  A buddy of mine has a video of a turtle coming out from under a rock and pretty much just bumps into him as if to say "get the eff outta my way!".

I've got one of those as well - I'm amazed at the quality of video you can get for such a small/inexpensive package. I have been thinking about getting a second camera since the battery only lasts for about an hour, so pretty much a single dive.

Very cool.

I went diving in the Bahamas just a couple years ago and we managed to run into a couple. Quite rare (we thought) to see 2 in one week off of 2 different little islands.

Our guide actually chased one until it came up for air, just so he could catch it and show it to us. (He used to swim with the Bahamian Olympic Team and that was part of his "open water fun swim training")

Very cool though!!
