Here's some from 2007 mountain bike races.  The first two was the worst weather, which included a tornado warning.  The lightening and rain were awful.  Trail was pure mud.  The second one as a couple weeks later.  Rain was horrible.  Nothing stops a mountain bike race. 

I had to bring this thread back to post one of my latest pics. I look like I just smelled something awful!

My first tri, a sprint, got a flat 2 miles away from transition. Ran it in with cycling shoes on, leading to massive bleeding blisters on both feet. Obviously was in some pain on the run, though it may have been my Elvis impersonation...

Oooo, I'll play.  I think I actually only have one race picture of me that is good so it was easy to grab a crappy one.  This one is from this years Newport Naval Station Tri.  It's wrong on so many levels.

This...well just a flattering pic all around! And...pulling up my tri shorts? like is it really possible for these suckers to slip down?

Ew. This was taken at my worst 1/2 performance (my smile was for my precious family near the finish). I was bloated, sweaty, and my shorts were foaming from too much detergent in the wash.

Was that at the Outback Distance Classic? I did that race last year, doing it again this year, nothing fixes the Thanksgiving Day guilt like a nice morning half marathon

Exactly! Not so much the pictures, but the witty captions. I LOL'd an embarrassing amount alone in my office reading this thread.

How do people manage to post proofs? I can't get it to work. I just got the pics from my last race and they are truly AWFUL!  My class and I had a big laugh over them this afternoon. Swim: I'm shaking my head trying to get water out of my ear, while running. Bike: Revenge of the Triathlon Zombies, Part 1. Reflective glasses, mouth hanging open, totally blank look. One of my students gave the caption, "How do these gear thingies work again?" Run: Revenge of the Triathlon Zombies, Part 2. There's a halfway decent shot of very motivated running on Lap 3, but always the same blank "duh" expression.  Finish line: Okay, I won the damm thing, first OA win in maybe two decades.  But do I look up? No! Smile? No!  I'm looking down at my feet as I grab the tape and saying, "Huh? Me? How'd THAT happen?" I was only made aware of said victory in the last few seconds so I guess I was just stunned.

I'm hoping that someone--race organizers, our LBS owner, has a decent pic I can send to Mom and Dad! Will attempt to scan the printed copy but the proof itself isn't great, so not sure it will work--you're not missing much.

Jillian, The Outback race is one of my Favs.  This pic is coming down the Roosevelt Bridge during the Ortega River Run, which is a couple of months after the Outback. Ironically, Myself and the guy behind me at this time, are both wearing our shirts from the Outback race !?

I don't know what it is about this one but it cracks me up every time I glance at it!
