Subject: What's the bottom line on your Road ID?

Road ID suggests that you use the last line of engraving to write something motivational for yourself (unless you are using Road ID interactive, in which case this thread is meaningless to you). I know a lot of people use Road ID, so I would love to hear what everyone has for that last line!

Mine is "HEAD|HEART|GUTS" This is something my dad taught to me that I am able to apply to almost anything path in life. For triathlon I think of it this way.

HEAD: Are you training right, eating right, and taking the time to learn your sport and your body?

HEART: Do you have a passion for what you are doing? Do you feel good about yourself when completing a training session or race?

GUTS: When things get tough, do you persever and push through? This one is key in races and tough training days. If I feel like I am dogging it I will tap my wrist as a reminder and push a little harder.

My current Road ID says "Shut up, legs!" because ever since I heard that, I used it as a motto to get me up the hills.

If I get another one, though, I might just get one that says "Please search the forums before you start yet another thread on what should go on your Road ID!"Wink
