Subject: RE: Are you a trainer or a racer?Training is a vital part of my daily life. It gives me a chance to relax, unwind, and break away from work, the kids, etc. It also has that cool side effect in that it helps you become faster (very relative term ). That said, I love racing. You can train anytime, anywhere, but only so many times a year can you go out an compete with your fellow racers, a challanging course, and your personnal limitations. The feeling of anticipation before the start, that inner conflict where you aren't quite sure if you can do it, but are dead set to try, is addictive. To me you can race and come in dead last an still feel a great sense of accomplishment and reach your goals. for me, training just can't match that.
All the way dude!! |
