I found it kind of funny that CNN felt they had to explain the definition of "uptown".

But did Ray Nagin pull one out of his $#@ when cornered about the comment. "Dark chocolate and white milk", yea Ray, sure, I was with you all along(tic).

Just shows that dumb comments aren't restricted by race, geography, or political affiliation.

Combine that with his "we don't want to be overrun with Mexican workers" comment and this guy just blows my mind.  Way to give ammo to all the racists and bigots of the world, Ray... good one.

This kind of talk from Nagin reminds me of something the Bear said back during the craziness of the hurricane aftermath. In effect he told us that the world would soon learn about the [good and bad that is La.] that those in that state had always known. His words have rang true time and again.

The sad part is that he's WAAAAAY better than the former mayor and the yahoos he ran against in the last election.  He actually seemed decent for a good while.  Now he just sounds like a raving lunatic.
