COURT JESTER  12230     ROCKFORD, IL |  Subject: LET IT SNOW!!!!!!!!!!Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. It's snowing here in Northern Illinois (Rockford) and predicted for 4 to 8 inches...of snow. We must remember that this is the time of year the Mother Nature goes Bi-Polar. So, WHO has been blasted by this snow storm already and who is in the way?? |

When you run a trucking company giant snow storms are not really high on your list of enjoyable weather events. On the other hand, maybe my run in the snow two weeks ago WASN'T my last one for the season. I'm supposed to run today anyway. |

By evening that 4" turned into 10 to 12. It finally melted back down to 4" yesterday, only to have another few inches of fresh powder fall last night. Now they are talking about another big storm this weekend with even more snow. |

I'm usually a stickler for taking care of your own drive and walks during winter, but I also as a rule that I don't shovel in March. It's never going to last. Unless it prevents you from getting in and out of your home don't bother shovelling! Resist the urge, man. Play, train, sleep, do anything but shovel.
