I'm in a bad mood. Yell

I hope my run tomorrow will help.  Good night.

Hope tomorrow is a better day for you!

As for me, got 3 miles in. TIRED ones followed up with a bike sesh. Glad tomorrow is rest day. Going to take the little girl in her stroller for a jog/walk to meat my RW challenge obligation.

Got my 2km in as a brick straight off the bike trainer tonight.

I wore my lovely Brookes Trance shoes which felt very luxurious after running on the roads barefoot the last few days!

My kneecap pain I've been struggling with since a HM in July has gone... Could it be the daily easy running???

Welcome Ed!  Jump right in!

Happy December!  Got three miles in this morning straight off 60 minutes on the trainer...I am loving these little bricks!  Today was just a great workout.

Bill...jealous of your warm temps!

Blanda...loved those babyjogger moments I had with my daughters, lovely way to get in a workout!

Kim - Thanks, that brick sounds like a great session!

David - I hope there is some healing magic in the daily easy runs.

I did two easy runs yesterday.  3 miles at lunch and 2 miles last night with my wife.  Today is the first logistical challenge yet for me, so this challenge will force me out the door for a mile or two late tonight and again early tomorrow morning.  That's what its supposed to do, right?Smile

wgraves7582 - 2011-12-01 5:42 PM Well got a trail run/hike/death march in again.  Climbed up and over Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale and then back up and over again to return to the car.  My legs do not like me right now!

Oh, but that does sound fun. And I'll bet it was warm? At least warmer than here? (30 with 23 mph winds)

Ran 4.5 miles tonight in the frigid cold. I don't know if I'll ever be warm again. Oh, wait. We leave for Southern California in 12 days. Ahhhh. Cool

After waiting in a line in the Guam heat for 7 hours trying to get our tax refunds for 3 years, I manged a mile jog/walk with the little bit. She's 5, but acts like she's 15. She insisted on leaving the stroller at home and "running" with me, bless her big heart in her tiny, squishy, sweet body.

I'm effing tired. I'm used to being tired, but effing tired is rare.

Yet another little brick run tonight, works been very hectic and I've not managed to get a swim so far this week but I'm committed to Jorge's cycling program and now I'm committed to this running challenge so brick runs seem to be the easier way to get it all done.

Well done everyone, one month to go!!!

Morning guys!  Friday is here!

I had a nice 30 minute walk with my one mile jog thrown in...I have to say it felt really nice to just jog (not that my regular pace is so much faster than that!

Have a happy Friday!

Waiting in line for 7 hours with a five year old?  No wonder you're effing tired!!!  Don't you just love those little bodies?  I have a 7 year old and a 12 year old...my 7 year old is almost grown out of letting me nibble her up.  The 12 year old?  Well, now she just thinks I'm weird.

Yes. We are having a Mickey Christmas -- probably going to go to Disney on the 20th or 21st, but still. The kids know we are going somewhere, but they don't know where. We will also visit some people we haven't seen in a while (some ever -- husband's cousins I've never met) and do other touristy kinds of things.

We did that last year for Christmas!  When school let out for vacation we secretly had our truck packed, got loaded up and told the girls we were going out for pizza.  Well, we drove all the way to Vegas for pizza! We stayed overnight at a hotel.  After breakfast I pulled out a huuuuuge hangman poster and told the girls they were going to play hangman.   They sat on the floor together calling out letters until they figured out the clue: "We are going to Disneyland!"  Oh, it was so great--such a fun memory! When they got out to the truck I had little bags filled with Disney themed stuff waiting for them: coloring books, markers, Pez, snacks.   The only unfortunate twist is that it rained the entire time we were at Disneyland...BUT--there were no lines so we rode everything and anything we wanted without waiting--a great family story now.

Fun! We read that going to Disneyland when it's raining is a great time to go. It keeps some people away.

I love that they thought you were just going out for pizza.

Got to run in the daylight today. I dropped my middle son off at Stomp lessons and then ran 3.25 miles before needing to go pick him back up. I could have run 4 miles. I got there a little early. It's nice to have the run done before the sun goes down.

1 mile warm up run with my teammate/friend before 3 hours of stand up paddle boarding and open water swimming:

This is me having a hard time mounting the board while my more agile child looks on concerned.

Happy Saturday!

5 miles inside...we are still in that wicked wind system and out here in the desert there is nowhere to hide!  I am so hoping it settles by tomorrow.  Nine miles on the treadmill does not sound fun, although then I could get my run done earlier.

You know it's funny, I've been struggling off and on with piriformis syndrome for years and when I was only running three or at the most four times a week it always bothered me.  Now that I have a solid week under my belt, no issues.  We'll see how it feels after 9 tomorrow, but so far it feels great.

Yea. That's what I meant, too. "Now" that looks like fun, not "Not" that looks like fun. Brother.

Got my session in today -- 8.55 miles in the drizzle. I need to remember to wear my contacts when it's raining, snowing, or drizzling. I kept having to stop and wipe my glasses off.
