Subject: P5 unveiled?

Well did the P5 get leaked?

Not sure if this is the real P5 or not, looks like a posed pic, and does not seem to resemble everything else they have released, but...

Thoughts, comments, concerns?

I'm looking forward to seeing all of the versions of the P5. My guess is that the Cervelo folks have some more tricks up their sleeves.

Apparently its the real deal.  Steve Fleck wrote on another tri-board that he knows this lady - she's apparently a Cervelo Marketing Mgr.

Annnd...I could care less!

Unveiled, it will lead to the usual number of additional marketing threads: 1) when will it be available, which should take a few months, 2) will it be the same for the public as the pros, another couple months while they 'decide', 3) what are the aero numbers, which we'll never know but will have legs for years, and the 4) show me your P5! thread, and this year, we'll add the following, new, yet instant classic: 5) will Cervelo back that warranty?

I'm tapped out of this tired, tired line of marketing. I wish they would go away.

It certainly has all the current aero goodies.

Kamm tail - check

Integrated stem (looks like w/ aero foil like the ventus at the back) - check

Pretty interesting where all all the tubes meet being "squared" off. I'd like to see more of the front an rear brake, as well as the fork.

Are those 3T brake levers for Di2?

The brake levers are Magura hydraulic.

It looks to me like all of the trailing edges are airfoil. I don't see where they're using a kamm tail design.

you may be right about the kamm, it does look like it is behind the seatpost in the first picture though.

So, I take it the Magura lever's do NOT have the buttons for Di2? Seems like a pretty poor trade off if not as that's one of the hottest points of a Di2 TT setup

I'm not seeing the Kamm tail shape.  What am I missing?

The brake levers don't appear to have shifter buttons. The trade-off will be the benefit of sleeker integration with a hose vs. a cable. But I agree it does take away one of the nicer features of Di2 on a tt bike.
