Isn't anyone else feeling badly for this kid? From now on, everyone in the public will look at when he botches a play and call him stupid. If he has a learning disability (I've had kids score under 10% before on tests with LDs) he probably has been called this his whole life. I don't know why the public has to know this info. Also as an FYI, I was listening to sports radio yesterday (yes I'm that nerdy) and several players got interviewed verifying some guys have a personal issue with the test. They purposefully throw it bc they think it's insulting. Some guys said they knew teammates that just spelled out words with the multiple choice. (like CAB, DAB).Either way, I think it's just horrible to label him as stupid. I know plenty of book smart people without any common sense or social acumen. And if he has a learning disability, shame on those that leaked the info.

If the education were the goal he's stay in and finish.

So you have to stay and complete a degree in order to learn anything? Lots and lots and lots of people are gonna disagree with that one.

Yeah, I'm one of those people. I dropped out of my MBA program, half way through, when my twin girls were born and my priorities changed. The idea that I learned nothing because I didn't complete the degreee is ridiculous. I think it's a pretty safe bet that after 3 years of college, he's better off than when he entered.

I agree with your point and admire your sympathy but I refuse to be "feeling badly for this kid" who will make more by signing his name in the next few months than I can hope to earn in a career lifetime. He has more than enough football talent to compensate for his other deficiencies.

Out of curiosity, who here has taken the Wonderlic test? I don't care about scores, just curious to see if people are familiar with the actual exam and the methodology/design and its purpose.

I took it before I was drafted 18th overall by the Redskins in '93.

I didn't agree with their mascot as it's a racial slur so I opted not to play professional football and instead went into a wonderful, rewarding career in journalism.

Just kidding. None of that's true. At all.

That said, I would like to point out I don't have a college degree so the point of going to college for me was to get a job. And it worked, and is still working to this day. BOOMSHAKALAKA!
