Subject: RE: earbuds while running or: who designed these POS'sI bought some yurbuds covers that I put over my existing buds. They worked really well for a few months. Then they started to fall out occasionally or when I would try and remove them, the bud would come out but the cover would stay in my ear. About six months later on a flight home, I opened my MP3 player case and I noticed that one of the covers was gone. I have no idea where or when it got lost. I contacted the yurbuds folks about it, because they say "guaranteed not to fall out", but the warranty is only 90 days. If you buy the actual yurbuds buds instead of the covers, you might be fine. I live in an arid climate, which might have caused them to lose their "stickyness". Anyhow, I was disenchanted with the company and decided to do a little googling for competitive products and found these: http://www.amazon.com/Philips-ActionFit-SHQ1000-28-Headphones/dp/B004477D00 They have worked well for me so far (5 months). I have seen both Philips and the yurbuds at Target. The Philips cord is kind of long, but it has a clip so it's not too bad. |
