I am getting ready for a two hour training ride followed by at least a 30 minute run, good times! I really feel the need to sweat out the toxins I ingested yesterday in the form of cookies, candy canes & lots of chocolate! My students fed me well! Have an excellent day! |

Veteran 145 | Subject: RE: 12.22.12 Super-Dee-Duper Saturday! Hello everyone... Just got back from a 29 min run. Smashed my average time per km personal best to 4 mins 41 seconds. Was really pleased. But did think i was going to throw up during it. Probably pushed a bit too hard. Off to the gym in a bit, maybe a swim session, but definitely some badminton and squash Good luck to anyone racing today and to everyone else have a great day training/day off George |

Still going on my New Year's resolution to bike 200 hours (total) this year--I need five more. Talk about down to the wire! Have booked the sessions so that regardless of weather, if I can stay healthy for the next week, I should make it! |

I don't really have a total mileage goal for the year, but it looks like I may reach 100 miles this month and about 100 miles more than I did last year on the run. Have a great weekend! |

My weight has crept north of what I like and it's time to reverse that. I'm still going to indulge for the next few days so it's necessary to increase the burn. |

We drive from our home to Las Vegas Monday the 24th around 1pm (about a 5 hour drive) and fly out at 1:30am, arriving on Oahu 6:00am Christmas morning! Until then...making sure this body is ready for the beach!!! |

Regular 71 | Subject: RE: 12.22.12 Super-Dee-Duper Saturday! 13 mile run in rain, snow and wind. Ran with my 13 y/o son training for Tinkerbell half marathon in January. Will be his second. He complained less than I did about being cold and wet. |

| Extreme Veteran 844 | Subject: RE: 12.22.12 Super-Dee-Duper Saturday! had an impromptu charity event put together over the past week.. 26.4.26.. 26 miles for the 26 souls that were lost.. started out as ~30 people completing whatever miles they could and donating per mile. ended with over 800 running and what will most likely be over 20k raised to go to the united way in Newton, CT for support of those families and the services they may need.. only got 10 miles in today, but the little guy I ran in memory of (we all had our little "angels" we ran for), Chase Kowalski was on my mind the entire way.. to top it off, he was a triathlete... anyway.. great day.. great memories. |
