This hotel had been associated with murders and muderers since the 1970s.  Apparently a Hollywood actress was last seen in that hotel before she was murdered. 

Then in the 1980s and 1990s serial killers commited their crimes while staying there.

    Could you imagine the fright/nausea of going about your business as a plumber and going up there to check it out and finding that?

    I don't think they said how she got in there.  Body dump, I assume - water should get rid of any DNA evidence.

    For kicks I went and looked at the yelp....  I don't think this will hurt them much, it's already pretty much bottom of the barrel.   http://www.yelp.com/biz/cecil-hotel-los-angeles

    I work downtown and have seen some of these hotels, I can never fathom why anyone would stay there (although one of the best Indian food restaurants around is in one of these places)
