Good afternoon

I am just waiting for a bit for it to warm up a touch so that the light snow from overnight will melt off the sidewalks, and then I will be heading out for a run. I will probably do 4 to 4.2 miles as I start to build milage back up slowly again, Free Running injurys prevention and treatment clinic seminar tomorrow night after work at the university sports medicine clinic sounds Interesting signed up this aft for that.

Have a great day all and be safe out there.

3200m swim and 5 mile run. And brunch, which is the best part of training.

11.5 mile run.  Icy, windy, muddy but SUNNY!  Legs were a bit tired from a 5k race yesterday, but the distance was just perfect for...

A boiled dinner AND corned beef and cabbage!  We're having people over, so cooked up a traditional Irish dinner (boiled smoked pork shoulder with lotsa root veggies) and an Irish-American dinner (corned beef and cabbage, plus other root veggies).

And black and tans, half and halfs and maybe, just maybe, a snort of very good Irish whiskey or Scotch (we're McManus, but mother's maiden was MacDonald, so it's OK  - as long as you don't tell anyone).

Have a great day out there!

Matt

Long brick: Three hour ride/ 30 minute run. One of those days--I swear the wind was always in my face, and I was riding multiple loops of a basically rectangular course (????). It was about 95 degrees for the run, and I couldn't get out of earshot of an outdoor karaoke contest featuring what had to be Vietnam's worst singers. Ugh. At least it's done!

Good afternoon~

14 mile run for me today on the treadmill--was feeling sorry for myself but I remembered Brian's 20 miles and figured I could handle it!  We had wind advisories in the west desert, gusts up to 50 mph--lil ol' me would've blown all the way to Wyoming!

Bit of a taper week for me starting tomorrow...love/hate taper week!

Awesome day today. 50 mile hard ride with intervals, 2.5k in the pool and then a 6 mile tempo run this afternoon. Everything felt great, especially the run on tired legs.

Horribly ran 5k Shamrock Shuffle...Not that I ran bad, the race was run poorly. Clock was turned off before at least 40% of the runners finished, pretty sure the course was close to a quarter mile short, they ran out of t-shirts...

All that said, I got a good run in and finished faster than I thought I would...I think (because the clock was off and I ran without my garmin) Dont really care about the t-shirt thing, I can make up the course distance in training this week anyway.

500m swim, 12mile bike, and 5k run.. A few hours in between each but I basically did a sprint tri without trying to. Just sort of happened. I had only planned the bike but then took the kid swimming so I decided to do some laps; then later just felt like running.

One day late, but I did a 4200 swim and a 2 hour ride in the mountain bike =)

30 degrees with 15-20mph wind.
