Best thread EVER about DIY construction...

For your viewing pleasure (and ease of reference if you don't want to go through all the pages) the pics of the "Shed O' Doom" as it's now referred to are on pages:  1, 5, 7 (along with 1st time lapse video), 10, 11, 17 (along with 2nd time lapse video), and then the rest are pretty much all photo-shops of the Shed O' Doom. 

Enjoy and again, revel in your superior carpentry skills as they CAN'T be as bad as this guy's. 

Even in the video when he had a friend help... I mean... as a friend.... I could not lend a hand on that. I have never framed anything in my life, but I think I could at least make something structurally sound. I know I could at least fit up OSB on the outside.

I will say though, that the trim and paint job really made it nice.

I saw this on a different forum also.  Hard to believe someone actually helped with it.  That is just some scary build work going on there.  I hope they don't get snow or wind there.

Exactly my response too!   As in "holy crap, I'm so much more awesome at building stuff than this guy!"

I also love that I know exactly where it is - if I still lived around Vancouver (it's in one of the suburbs) I'd totally go and check it out... though no going inside, I wouldn't want to be a statistic of the Shed O' Doom. 

I cannot wait to see the pictures of it collapsing.

I personally like the overlapping floorboards.  Why cut at all when you don't have to?? 

The thread has apparently made it onto several home building forums, as well as car forums, gun forums, cycling forums, and now onto Reddit... this thing has gone viral!  Whatever you do, don't show your dad - I think there may be several exploded heads already!
