When things look powerful, they are rarely efficient. When things look graceful, they often are. She may very well get a good finish, but this is often the reason why runners fail as they get near the end of the run. You can get away with a lot in short races. I don't know, man. I hear what you're saying, but if you're in the lead group at all at Boston, you've spent enough miles figuring out what's most efficient for your body. Maybe it's not enough to win Boston today, but it's still hard to argue with the efficiency of repeat 5:30s, especially on a challenging course like this. |
