Pre-race routine:

Zoot ultra, race shirt, kinvara 2 with silver socks.

Event warmup:

1.5k jog, a few pickups. Not feeling great.

Comments:

First 3-4k were 3:55, 3:52 etc but slowed down to 4:05 etc on all the uphill. I'm up about 10 lbs over Victoria, but should be stronger from the bike/swim.

Warm down:

Pancake breakfast and the kids races!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Weight and motivation probably.


Event comments:

A good solid 10k race to do each year.
