Pre-race routine:

Woke up 3:30 pm had breakfast English muffin w/ peanut butter and honey class of OJ. Left for race site at 5:15AM. Setup transition got timing chip and body marked drank some water had banana and a pack of jelly beans.
Event warmup:

Swam out to first turn.

Direction of swim was changed because of current.
What would you do differently?:

Need to work on my sighting had no trouble with first and second leg. Think in may have been a concentration problem on third leg

Am always worry about cramping when changing shoes tend to slow down a bit.

More brick practice cycle/run

Running is not my thing got passed my second place age group in early park of the run. Was passed by the 4th place AG finished with about a 1/2 mile to go but was able to keep up with him and put on a final kick to edge him out by 2 seconds at the finish.

Warm down:

They handed out iced towels had some drink the walked to car to get cell phone and called Martha.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My running and lack of concentration during the swim
