Not down much on the week, but daughter's birthday was this weekend, so my clean eating really started 2 days ago.

Gained 0.4 lbs this week. Argh!

I guess it's time to start counting calories. I know I can control what I eat a lot better when I am accountable to write it down.

I'm in.  At the beginning of the year I was at 225.8.  I haven't weighed since then, but I will weigh in tomorrow morning.  My goal is 220 by the end of the month.  I guess I shouldn't have had 3 pieces of Cadbury chocolate that my coworker brought back from her trip to Ireland.

I'm in!

Weighed in at 151 last week. I would like to get down to under 140 for my IM in June. So goal for Feb. 1 is 147.

As of yesterday was at 150.2.

Here we go 2014.

I weighed in at 224.6 for a loss of 1.2.  Thankfully, the Cadbury chocolates from Ireland are all gone.

Started counting the calories again and tonight I try and run, been trying to rest my PF and it hasn't done a thing for it so back to running again and see what happens? At least I should lose some weight!

It's a new year we will keep at it until we obtain our goals!

January goal is 232

Congrats to all you losers.

still 163

Have been hitting the gym and am doing the jog/walk working up to the start of my training plan on March 1. When it says run 20 mins., I'll be able to run 20 mins. without injuries.
Have been training keeping HR low, to build a fitness base. Talking with a trainer at gym who reminded me that weight loss work is different from endurance work.
I've got to lose weight so that I can be that endurance athlete - so back to interval training, getting HR up there for three mins on, 1-2 mins. break.

Getting in some cardio/weight classes.
Food has not been too bad. Healthy eater who then throws in some junk food.

No weight loss yet.

Is it too late for me to join? I was doing great slowing getting to my best weight, but in the summer I ended up depressed about not being able to to go to Xterra Maui Worlds. I spend the whole time lounging, reading, and eating. Gained almost 15 pounds and am struggling to drop them.

Starting weight as of today, 1/16/14, 150. Blech. Just looking at that number hurts. I'm all of 5'1". Way too much for my height.

Went to a fundraiser for my daughters youth group - a dessert auction. Besides spending too much for desserts, I didn't go crazy but had two or three servings I didn't need. They weren't even that good.

I realize how I let others determine what and when I eat. I could have let my hubby go without me, or I could have just remembered that those desserts are not my food. They are not what I really want to eat, they leave me feeling bad and they won't get me to my goals.

Now if I can keep repeating that when I'm tempted next time...

Thank you! Since the holidays have ended and I've been back to work, I've been doing well bringing my lunch. They've been healthy, so no walking across the street for pho 3x a week.

The training is increasing so I'll be burning a bit more. I have Xterra Guam 3/29 and really want to lose that extra 15 by then. It'll be tough, but I'm going to try real hard.

With the coming of the New Year, athletes commonly think about making nutrition resolutions. Good thing, given only 3 to 4% of Americans follow all of the established Dietary Guidelines.
