Hello

I do not know all the names of these towns. I was looking for something in June, the 70.3 distance. I am in Michigan, about 45 minutes from Sarnia and about 70 minutes frm Windsor. The one on June 21 in Muskoka caught my attention. Does it use any of the same course that the IM 70.3 or 140.6 use? I am looking at that for 2016.
Thanks
Joe

I believe the Muskoka race in June is short course (750m-30k-7.5k). I'm not sure if it's on the same course as the IM, but I imagine some of it is. If you're looking for a 70.3, then the race in early July is what you want.

If you are looking for that distance you might want to look at our Half in Welland. This is a fast course that has had 500 athletes competing with rave reviews. All of the details are on our website at http://www.multisportcanada.com/welland/half-triathlon/.I hope we see you in June!

I did this race last year and am planning to sign up again! Great PB course - really nice swag for a good value, i thought!

The only thing is hotels seem to be very dear - i've already tried to book the host hotel and it's booked up  as are most other hotels - I think the Niagara college residence is available and pretty good - just not the best when i am planning to bring my husband and toddler.

Appears there's also a regatta in town that weekend ...

FYI:

The teams at Fort Henry and the Kingston Garrison have teamed up to launch the inaugural Garrison Triathlon! Held on June 28, 2015, the Triathlon is sanctioned by Triathlon Ontario, and will include both Sprint and Olympic distances.

"The Garrison Triathlon is a challenging event set in the backdrop of the historic Royal Military Collage of Canada and Fort Henry. This Tri boasts a great open water swim, a spacious transition zone, a bike ride with changing elevations, and a run through beautiful back drops including on and off-road sections. The run takes you through the Canadian National Cross Country Championship route and ends at a World Historic Site, Fort Henry." Paul Butt, Race Director

Signed up today for these three:

Subaru Series

June 7 - Milton
July 19 - Niagara
Sept 5 - Guelph

Milton will be a shake down to just enjoy myself and survive. Then I will see what I can do performance wise at the other two.

Last year I went to Binbrook with RwM and took the prestigious 28/29 place in my age group and again this year I will be propping up my AG. (Id did also beat two DQs in my AG, in your face rule breakers!!).

So guys 35-39. When your result says you are in the top 50 or 20 or 10% of age group, that's me bulking up the lower order!

Ladies and veterans. Do you enjoy overtaking other wise health looking competitors who appear to be going backwards? Your welcome!

Look out for me and my crappy entry level road bike looking nervous!

Chemong Lake is August 9, not the 29th. Which is too bad, I work the 9th!

Dont worry. I am not being too hard on myself. Just going to have fun. I am vey pleased to be able to particiate in multisport. Booked my wetsuit rental for Milton this weekend and have been putting some miles on the bike to get ready for the 6th line hill. nice 8km run yesterday on mixed trails. Pretty sure I can avoid the wooden spoon award :-)

My expectations for the quality of this years’ Triathlon world championship were fulfilled. This was because of the superb location that is like no other along with having the top triathletes present.
