Who's in? Coming from California, no idea what the course is like. Tips? Staying at the Residence Inn near transition (I think...)

I'm in as a lead up to IMChoo in the fall.  I have done the full in 2014, and it looks like some of the course is the same, especially the run.  Otherwise not sure about the course, but I would expect it to have some rolling hills.  Beautiful part of the country in my opinion.

I am in, coming from Illinois with a good group of tri peeps. We have rented a cabin about 2 miles away. Hopefully there won't be any logistics issues on race morning getting across the river, parked, etc.

I'm in as well. Doing as prep for 140.6 in Sep. driving down from IN. Should be so reasonable hills and fast swim. Staying hilton garden inn near transition

I actually have two reservations but going to use the residence inn near transition. The other is the new holiday inn on i think mlk. So I'll be releasing that one or o can contact them to see if I can transfer it. 2 or 3 blocks from transition

Hello from River Falls, WI!! This will be my 2nd 70.3, but my 1st IM branded race. Me and a friend are doing this together and leaving the hubbies home. Woot Woot!!

I found these options while looking for a place to stay. All are within walking distance and much cheaper than the close hotels. Thought I would share in case anyone is still looking. Owners of the first and second one were super nice. The second one has someone doing the race staying in the lower unit.
