June's here! Who's in for another 100 mile challenge?

Going for a 40 minute run now.

I'm in again but if I don't make it this month, I promise to not sign up for any more challenges. I'm getting tired of barely missing it but I have no one to blame but myself.

I would love to join! My training plan is for 98 miles. This will help me stay honest. And I think I can find two extra mile!

I'm gonna bug you when you reach 98 miles.

Pink Socks, I know how you feel. I haven't been making it but the challenge itself makes me wanna run more and more until I make it. Keep joining the challenge!

You are right - it motivates me to get out the door sometimes. 20.1 miles so far.

Ok--I got a couple of extra miles in this week. Now at 45. I have a trip to Mexico on the 20th--so my training may slip a little.

Same here and it's partially during a recovery week. I'm gonna try getting some short runs in though to maintain fitness.

Ok--I am sitting at 69 miles. I did a couple extra today. After my normal run, two of my kids wanted to run--so we went out for a couple extra miles.

WTG!

I'm not going to make it. I had a week of either a stomach bug or a reoccurrence of diverticulitis and running was pretty impossible during that time. I'm trying to get close to the 100 mark but will be 10 to 15 short tho. :-(

Oh man, I really took it easy over my vacation, hehehe. I did go for a short 20 minute run though.

So, I got 110 miles done. I kept very consistent for the month and got a couple extra miles here and there.

I managed 82.94 miles this month.

I did a 70.3 race, an Olympic race and ran a leg of the Manitoba Marathon relay. So I had a few extra rest days so my total was down for the month. Hopefully July will be a bit better, distance wise. I only have one 70.3 that month. Should be a big build month going towards IM Mont Tremblant.

Nice work man! I didn't have to bug you about it, hehehe!

Looks like I'm gonna finish this month 2 miles less than last month, 42.26 miles. That's with like a week and a half off, hehehe. Next month will have lots more!

Well, I really blew it. The revised goal was 85 miles but I came in at 78.9. Shoot. Congrats to those that made it!

Soon after I got married, I decided I needed to get motivated to work out and focus on getting back into shape. I could barely jog a quarter-mile without needing a walk break.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
