Hey now, wait a sec.  WHY does everyone hate the EAGLES (the most awesome team in the universe?  )  Everyone should hate the Cowboys!  Good thing they're out.

I'm expecting the Saints/Eagles game to be a good one!

Yes.  I'm sooo not a football fan.  But I find myself listening to my MOTHER (of all people) go on and on about the Saints.   It's been such a boon to the morale of the area.

I really do hope they make it all the way.

And, for the record, Super Bowl is just the "ramp up" for Mardi Gras.  Officially, it started last weekend.   

It's not that everyone hates the Eagles, it's just that everyone likes the Saints more. Everyone (except Aaron) DOES hate the Cowboys.

I love watching the Cowboys go down in a stomach punch game almost as mush as I like seeing the Yankees lose.

Yah, hay!  They are wicked Awesome!

That game was WICKED AWESOME!!!!!! 

Now all we need is a typical Manning freak-out and it's on to face the Ain'ts or the Bears.

The Patriots just stuck around long enough taking hits and then made key plays to steal the win (I freely admit that the Bolts had more talent).

Since my team handed the game away, it looks like a Saints vs. Pats Superbowl.

Go Saints!

It would be poetic justice if Vinateri kicked a last-second FG to send the Colts to the Super Bowl this year.

That said, I'll be surprised if Brady doesn't end up with ring #4 this year.  It just seems like they find a way to get things done come playoff time. 

On Mike & Mike this morning they said Gross Rexman outplayed Peyton and Brady this weekend.  I almost veered off the road. 

His stats were ok but if you didn't see the game you don't realize he was about a hair away from 2-3 more turnovers than the stupid fumble he had.  That guy is playing with fire.  Yeah, he made some nice passes down field, but he's got to protect the ball better than that.

All of that being said, it's going to be a disappointing end to the season for the Saints next weekend.
