Felt pretty good almost all of the race. Started to get pretty tired around mile 23 but once I was in Tempe I knew I could finish under my 3:30 hour goal.
What would you do differently?:

Could have been a little more fit and not droppped those couple of minutes from mile 23 on, but for my first marathon I'll take it.
Post race
Warm down:

Enjoyed beer and watching football in Tempe!

Event comments:

Fun, well organized race. Lots of positve people on the course running and cheering on the side of the street.

Great job Travis. You smoked mile 7!

Next marathon you do will certainly be in range to qualify for Boston.

great job - smokin fast for your first marathon!!!  I hated the cold, but in the end, I think it was a good thing as I was NEVER dehydrated and never had to worry about water over the head, staying cool etc.  Hope you're recovering well - keep up the nice work!
