Do you enjoy CoJ???? (Page 3)

And I like welshy. He's a PITA sometimes, occassionally impulsive and inappropriate , but not too bad. He's basically a good guy.

It plays this way...I tolerate, enjoy, relish, and rebel against opinions based on the subject. And more often then not, COJ gets me thinking or laughing, whether I post or not. It's a good place, full or thinkers and people with solid positions. Jim, Matt, Scout, Hollis, Phoenixazul, Max, Dontracy, Courtney, ASA, you name 'em: WELSHY.

I have nothing to do with PITA and eat meat on a regular basis. For the record. 

• A "Substance" subthread for the more serious of you;
• An "Adult" subthread for the more offensive of you, and;
• An "Inanity" subthread for the "Thread Killers."

It's a good place, full or thinkers and people with solid positions. Jim, Matt, Scout, Hollis, Phoenixazul, Max, Dontracy, Courtney, ASA, you name 'em, they've posted some pretty insightful stuff about themselves, and the world.

Sign me up {the commitment papers have already been signed by the judge} for the Silly subthread.

Some of us (ok me) feel need the silliness to keep our sanity.  The world can't be full of Curmudgeons. 

Thanks you for the kind words, folks. I think "CoJ post count to triathlons" ratio would be a VERY interesting metric.

You can't fool me, I know you're not trying to keep your sanity (like you have some to keep!), but rather you're trying to steal everyone else's.

For the record, I did not post anything offensive today and when I do it's one of three pictures I find hilarious but that could be offensive to some. It was made clear to me recently that one of thise pictures in particular was not to be posted again and I responded with an immediate "ok" without excuse and then with an apology.

It's easy to become dissaccociated from your actions in this type of medium and I'm certainly guilty of doing just that. While I don't know what happened today (was in a meeting), I do feel a measure of responsibility for nudging Marama, but from my perspective it was more good natured than may have been percieved as we've been on the site for some time and I viewed him as another member instead of a moderator and that has not been fair:
