What's on tap for today?

 

Today is the first time I did an outdoor ride in the morning before work (have done plenty of trainer rides). It was a nice way to start the day...although the morning-commute drivers can be a little crazy .

Run/walk - 15min/15min this morning. Felt great, and even though I only ran 1.25mi, I shaved something close to a minute off of my previous best mile pace! I ran an 11:26min mile today. Not fast compared to a lot of folks here, but faster than I was, which is the whole idea.

3300m swim this am.  Main set of 30 x 50 on 10", as odds hard/evens easy, and 2 x 400 pull on 15".

50min run this evening with some tempo.

70min run with 8x4:00 at z3 with 2:00 recovery jog (= ~7-8 miles). Unless we have thunderstorms, then 45-60min trainer ride (probably Spinverval).

rode this morning for the first time since my bout with every possible illness known to man over the past 3 weeks. this weeks nemesis. cold sores. bleh. i just can't stay healthy to save my life

3 mile run and 100 situps/pushups. im on a quest to do 30,000 situps and pushups a year. i just started this, but thats about = 100 of each per night, mon-sat.

Practiced for race Sunday..wore race outfit wiht BT top to make sure worked okay, did race nutrition, used my fuel belt for the run..everything worked well. Thanks to Sue I realized my left cleat needed replacing and did that last night..shoes worked well but unclipping was harder.
