None. Stopped to help at a really bad accident and ended up watching a guy die.

Comments:

The sight of the accident and Terri's battle with cancer was on my mind the entire run. Along with my grandmother who died with lung cancer and Mike's grandfather who was also a patient at Moffitt with throat cancer. Lots of thoughts. How lucky I am to be healthy and have healthy kids, just kinda overwhelming. Made me cry. I can't run and cry, so I tried to turn my brain off and just run.

My left leg was tight and really painful until about mile 3, then it kinda let up, so I tried to run harder to make up time. When it hurt too bad I would walk.

Hung with the Team Terri group (Terri, Pete, Jeff, Betsy, Sue, Mike, Ben & Beka).

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My fat behind and lack of fortitude to push harder when it hurts.

Event comments:

This was a small, but well organized race. It was my first time running it, but I will do it again next year for sure!!
