Ok, now, what were YOU for Halloween this year? If you weren't anything, what did you do to show your Halloween spirit?

I was a stereotypical LA Sorority girl...Sigma Lambda Tau everyone!! (SL..T, imagine the vowel I missed). :-) I'll post a pic later, and I encourage everyone to do the same!

My 5 year old daughter mandated that I go out in costume. The only thing I had was a foldable house the kids play in the livingroom with. I put on said house and went as a moble home.

I was a grumpy tired old man making dinner after a day of shopping and doing groceries.  Good thing I had a nice chilled bottle of white wine to make things better.

This year, I dressed up as a guy who had his workout routine interrupted by having to hand out candy. I didn't have any inspiration this year whatsoever. Last year I dressed up as the Village People (yes, all of them at the same time), previous years had me as The Crow, a deep sea diver (big surprise)...

wow, I have no idea what happened to that post.

Anyhow......I got home at 6 and shut off the lights.  Our house is set back from the road in a big subdivision with lots of kids.  I'm sure the neighbors took good care of all of them. And I don't have any leftovers because I never bought any candy

I hosted a 1-foot-in-the-grave party this year, where everyone had to dress up as someone who has passed on. I chose Mr. William Wallace, just so I could yell FREEDOM all night long.
I ended up running a 10k race the next morning in costume. Laerka and Pooh Bear have pictures in their album.

I went as Lt. Dangle from the show Reno 911 on comedy central and my girlfriend went as the blonde officer (can't remember her name). It was a lot of fun, especially when people had seen the show. Maybe I'll post the pictures one of these days.

Michel - I was ALMOST the same as you for Halloween - I was a grumpy tired old lady making dinner after a day of shopping for groceries.  Good thing I had a nice chilled bottle of white wine  margarita and a tootsie roll lollipop to make things better.

i was a 32 year old, 5'7" woman trying to fit into her 4'10" grandmother's clothing from the early 60s. the hat is resting on the top of my head, since it was so tiny (or my head is too big, depending on how you look at it).

For this Halloween, I put the Charter of Rights on my suit and went as a "law suit"......lol It was a very last minute costume but everyone loved it 'cause they all had to try and guss what I was. I guess even corny ideas can be good....lol

Cheers

I was "Bonny - I don't need no stinkin' Clyde" and Derreck was an Amazonian Warrior

Derreck went from "this is only for kids" to "I just want to wear pants and a shirt and shoes" to "I need body paint"......

I am normally captain halloween, but in the aftermath of the wedding, I didn't have it in me so I pulled out the archives of costumes and went with the easiest. Houston-tri-mamma' kids even had to go with last years (Aunt Mary usually makes new creations every year for the kids). I have lobbied her for posting the photos in the other thread.......

My girlfriend and I both dressed up in yellow jumpsuits with black stripes down the arms and legs. I was Bruce Lee and she was Beatrice Kiddo from Kill Bill. I also had plastic nun-chucks and she had a plastic samurai sword. Fun!

Ooh, I'm so bummed I don't have any pics!!! I was "When Hell Freezes Over" (light blue clothing, make up designed to make me look cold, lotsa glitter, light blue, 'frosted' horns, pitchfork and tail) and my sister was "When Pigs Fly" (pink one-sy pajamas, pig nose and tail, angel wings!). It was awesome!!!
