I'd like to help you but I'm not sure how it works...

I tried to attach what I thought was the website on page 2 or 3 of this thread but it didn't work from what I understand. You can try to page back and click on the attachment.

Let the record state that Team 2 retains all rights to the team name:

Team Vandalay.

If you are a Seinfeld fan, I don't need to explain that team name.

Seriously though. We may need a team name if that doesn't work?

I like Team Vandelay for Team 2 but here are a few suggestions:

Team Victorious (simple but positive)
Team Tri Harder (cute but effective)
Team 'Bring it' (to be "cool")
Team 'That's how we roll' . . . (slight play on words for my current ab shape)

or of course the ever popular,
Smells like Team Spirit

Let me know your thoughts!

I would like to join too if I still can. If the teams are full, I don't mind being a "captain" and waiting for others to join. Looks like this is a popular place to be

Team 2 - Any name sounds good. How about we start a team thread to figure it out. :-)

Jim,

Thanks for the welcome! I've logged my starting weight on the spreadsheet.

Hmmmm.... team name? Disclaimer: I'm not feeling very creative this morning, but here are some ideas.

- Stronger Sixes
- Slender Sixes
- Sixes for Strength
- Sixes for Success
- Team Sixcess
- Bootie Busters (found this one Googling and thought it was kind of cute)

I'm also okay with going with Team VI

    Jenn,

Check out the Team Six thread.  I believe "Sexy Sixes" is the chosen name

Today is weigh in day so I wanted to wish eveyone in the challenge good luck.

25 weeks is a long time and I want to see everyone succeed so stick with it until summer and I'm sure that you'll thank yourself that you did.

Be the tourtise, slow and steady will win this race.

Congratulations everyone on making it through your first week. Once you make your mind up, isn't the first week the most difficult??? Hopefully everyone found the scale less this morning. Of course, the first thing I did was weigh myself this morning before I ate anything. When I stick to it and have some sort of accountability, the weight comes off. I lost 3.5 pounds. That's high but I know during New Year's Day I ate a lot so I am sure my weight was a bit more than it would have been if I ate normally. I don't expect that weight loss each week, but it's a jump start and motivator for me. Just 7 more days until we weigh in again so just take it one week at a time rather than looking at summer that is so far off. I am running my first half marathon this weekend in Arizona so I may eat just a little more than normal just to make sure I don't bonk!

I know I'm last but is there any way I can join in. These types of challenges gave me a real incentive in the past and I don't want to wait 24 weeks till the next one?
