  • Comments: I don't have any Tri's to compare this to but I thought it was an awesome race especially for my first time- perfect actually. It was not intimidating, very organized, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Food was great, beer was better =)

  • Comments: Endorfun Sports put on a great race weekend. Everything was well organized including the informational e-mails leading up to the race. I'm probobly going to be spoiled now since this was my first race. I will hold all other races to this standard.

  • Comments: Was really glad to get my first race out of the way. Will definately try to be back in October with the goal of doing the Olympic distance at the HI-FI Tri.

  • Comments: I think the race was even better this year than last. Keith and his team do an amazing job on every level. Great for participants, great for families, great for spectators. I loved the deep-water start for the swim, loved the revised run course, and all the amenities. I would never hesistate to do an endorfun race in the future.

  • Comments: The race is becomming the premire first race of the season, as the race director stated he is shooting for. There are plenty of activities and is becomming a family event. I live in Galveston and it is so helpful to see so many friends and people volunteering at the event.

  • Comments: I had a great time and met lots of first time and seasoned triathletes. Everyone was very nice and always offered words of encouragement. I would recommend this event to everyone.

  • Comments: Volunteers were awesome! There were cheerleaders, bike repair people, food preparers, water station workers, flag wavers on the bike, and everyone was positive and cheery! It was a great atmosphere and a very well-organized race. I wish I could've stayed for Sunday's races! Maybe I'll go back and do the half one of these days...

  • Comments: as before there is nothing bad to say about this race. all race directors could learn from Keith as this race, and i hear his others, are the nearest to Ironman events as you can get without it being an Ironman

  • Comments: Great race again this year. Enforfun does the best job putting on a event. I've done both Lonestars, Longhorn last year, and will do Austin 70.3 in October. If they come to Texas, I'm doing the race.

  • Comments: Some odd logistics issues and lack of signage. But overall very nicely organized. Great job, Keith -- I had a GREAT time! I really appreciate the experience of what I went through with my flat tire. The fact that I was able to still finish was a true gift. I'm very proud of my attitude and commitment to finishing strong. I think my times showed that I can really compete as an Athena, and that my 3rd place at the 2006 Rattlesnake wasn't a fluke. If my bike time had been consistent, I may have contended for 4th place. If I increase my running pace a bit (by 30 sec to 1 min) and tighten up on the bike (my nemesis), I could really compete! I'm very excited, very encouraged, and ready to set some goals. Maybe I'll go back to Rattlesnake this year!!

  • Comments: I feel bad saying this, but it's almost like I knew it was going to be an awesome race, and it was, so there was no real surprise. There's no way I was going to miss this race after having so much fun last year, and there's no way I'll miss it next year. My mom already wants to know when next year's race will be so she can get reservations at Moody Gardens :) As usual, another AWESOME race by Keith and EndorFUN!

  • Comments: Keith and his crew knocked it out of the park again. Tons of volunteers, great organization, good post-race activities and spread, excellent venue. His races are definitely the gold standard. I'd put his races right up there with any of the Ironman events, just without the Ironman "experience".
