  • Comments: Love this race and venue! I really think that the Olympic race is the best in the state. Will do it again for a 4 time in the future.

  • Comments: Low ranking due to failure of the race organizers to submit result to USAT. The race was July...it's nearly November and the results are not in. Sanctioned races are required to submit results in 14 days. Pretty poor showing of respect for the people who paid full dollars to participate.

  • Comments: I heard many good things about Chelanman and it certainly delivered. It's well-run and has a terrific course in a wonderful location. It was a bit of a bummer to actually get rain in Chelan in July, but it wasn't really a problem. The overall temperature for the race was terrific with the overcast skies.

  • Comments: Chelanman was so well-organized and everything went very smoothly. I saw a lot of smiles all day. It was great to hear people cheering everywhere, and I heard my name quite a bit, too, which always boosts the spirits! I hope to do this one again next year....although once you add gas, lodging and food, it becomes pretty expensive. I loved being able to do the race with my teammates, Carrie, Jenny, Janet and Charity.

  • Comments: This was a good race. I qualified for age group nationals but did not compete in Tuscalusa because of the expenses associated with getting there. I was so far behind the race leaders out of the water that I was out of contention right off the bat. I need to become a better swimmer to be competetive at this distance.

  • Comments: This is a great venue. The water clarity and warmth is remarkable. The bike and run are straight-forward out and backs. I would encourage other beginners to come to this course. It is a fun course.

  • Comments: This is still one of my favorite races. It ranks right up there with the Moab Half-Marathon on my annual "must do" list. The course, location, lake, and race organization are all awesome.

  • Comments: I honestly feel like this was to date the best performance in a triathlon that I've had. I really needed it after Lake Stevens. Now I feel pretty good at about my prospects for 5430 Long Course in a couple of weeks. After that it's all about Ironman Arizona. We'll be headed back to Colorado in a few days.
