  • Comments: The food is to die for. Boudin, chicken and sausage gumbo and rice, fruit. I do wish they would invest in chipped timing. I'd be willing to pay more to have it.

  • Comments: Just wish this race used time chips. SO and I noticed that the times were off on the swim and that the T1 time was added into the bike leg. Otherwise great food and awesome door prizes. I had fun.

  • Comments: my first race. Had a threat of rain, but it didn't. had a heavy cross/ head wind, after race food was great and I met some really nice folks in this small venue, which is what wanted to experience. My actual watch time was 1:04:06.

  • Comments: awesome door prizes. got to meet a lot of college athletes in post-race party. since this was my second triathlon, i was happy with my performance.

  • Comments: Small, short race, but well-organized and competitive. Lots of amenities, good food post-race, door prizes. AG medals were nice as well. Good first-time race with a short pool swim, or if you're like Angel and don't swim in the "dirty water.". Dylan, Angel and I all won door prizes.

  • Comments: It was so cool to do a Tri with BEAR and Dylan (Son of the bear). Dylan acted all cool but I think he had fun. He told me afterwards that I could get his third shawdow box so that he could put his Mardi Gras Half and this medal and bibs up in his room. He has 2 others up with half marathon medals. I was shocked and very excited to get Second Place!!! Of course it was only Annette and I in our age group. There are usually 4 of us and I end up being 4th. The medal is so cool. I was more excited about getting this medal than any I have ever gotten. :):):) TRI's are a lot harder for me than other events that I participate in because my swimming is not up to par yet. It's time for summer, so I can start swimming more.
