  • Comments: This is a really great race. There is no better finish then the run up the hill to the Montauk Lighthouse.

  • Comments: This is a great race, plain and simple. The finish is like none other that I have done. The run up Turtle Hill to the base of the Lighthouse is magical. There are always tons of spectators there to cheer you on as you approach the finish. I love the finish of this race. I am very happy with how I did today. I set a course PR by 5 minutes and I really put out a great effort throughout the entire race.

  • Comments: Maybe I missed signs, but I felt that that heading into T2 was a bit dangerous; and that we didn't have much notice. Seemed like an abrupt stop, but then again, I don't know if I missed something. My sister had the same problem and we're not sure what happened with my brother, as he doesn't remember the crash. :( Overall, awesome race. I plan to do it again.

  • Comments: Really nice race on a great day. You can't been the scenary at the end.. looks like a shot for a movie over looking the ocean.. More bouys! Would also be nice if they had more separation coming out of T2.. I guess it would normally be fine.. but when one thing after another almost leads to me vs. a bike I get nervious I guess.

  • Comments: Beautiful challenging course. It was my first race and it really inspired me. I love Montauk and this is a top notch race. The experienced triathletes felt the same way.
