  • Comments: Need to tape the "run out" better. There were people just walking around where runners were coming out of transition to get on to the run course. It was a bit of a mess.

  • Comments: This race was great as usual for two main reasons: great volunteers and race planning, super fun course. After the race the Athena results were screwed up exactly like last year. The frustrating part was the print out of the whole results list showed the correct information. I could see the group had 6 people, I could see the order. The special report they print for awards, though, wasn't right. The timing guy couldn't wrap his head around this (AGAIN). After the whole awards ceremony was over I noticed the other girl who we thought was Athena walk over towards the table of awards. I asked if she was the first place Athena and we determined she was and she was bummed to not get called up, it was her birthday. We just told Jerry McNeil we were the winners and he announced it. We then collected our trophies. Ross the RD was surprised (AGAIN?) that it hadn't gotten worked out but we just said it was true and I reminded him the same thing happened last year.   • Comments: Rain was disappointing as it is such a nice venue and it would have been fun to hang out longer. Good race overall for me. I guess I am destined to finish in 5th place or so every time.

  • Comments: This is a good race I would recommend. I had a great race and things came together as a whole race. I managed to get to the podium for the first time and knocked 3:50 off of last years time.

  • Comments: First time race for me and I really liked it. 2 years ago I missed the signup and last year had surgery the night before the race, so was excited to finally get to do it. Very well oganized with plenty of volunteers and it is only about 5 miles from home!

  • Comments: I would absolutely do this one again. The location is great. I liked the swim course, although I know in past years it has been wavy and difficult. The bike was good, I just need to work on biking more. The run course is GREAT. Flat and a good lot of shady stretches. My kind of run!

  • Comments: good course, great venue..........fun weekend with the family that came along and also with the family that lives up there. could be a yearly event? who knows, but i do know i owe that swim course a whoopin!!!!

  • Comments: Fine race. I liked the point to point swim. Run space was a little cramped and the transition area wasn't big enough so there were a fair number of bikes leaning against the orange fence. I'd consider doing this race again some time.

  • Comments: I will be here again next year. It was a good race to break up my 70.3 training. Lake Minnetonka is a great place to have a race. My goal was to go under 1 hour and 15 minutes which I did so I am happy overall with the race.

  • Comments: I love this race, and not just because it is by my house. Great volunteers, great venue. It would be nice to have more of a country setting for the bike, but this is a pretty developed part of town. Was the perfect day for a race. Perfect. I'm please with my time. When I did this race two years ago, I ranked 210th overall. Today, I ranked 111th. Great to see that my more intensive training has been having an impact.

  • Comments: I will probably race this same course again in September as part of the Best of US Citizens Race. I wanted to race it this time before registering for the Sept race. I liked it and hope I can make a better go at the hills next time!
