  • Comments: Beautiful course and great job on organization. My only real regret was not having more potties on the course. The finish line area was very crowded, but really good energy. Old Town Alexandria was fun to run into. I would happily do this or another Pacers event again!

  • Comments: Always a well organized race. This year there seemed to be something missing. I just couldn't put my finger on it. It may just be the small things like water at the end of the race instead of sports drink. I still love this course and Pacers always does a great job with their race series. Also no age group break down only overall. Only age group breakdown was for the winners. I would have like to see how well I did against others my age.

  • Comments: A+++ This may be the best race next to Disney that I have run especially on the organized side. Super efficient (and fast) shuttle service. The race started at 8am on the dot. Fabulous in and out for gear check. Food - shaky but plenty of bagels and bananas. Great shirt and volunteers. Plus they took care of the runners before the race which was very nice. They provided the mylar blankets at the start and hot coffee.

  • Comments: I drank a cup of water at mile 5 or 6 and a cup of Gatorade at mile 8 ish. Like the race; still have room for improvement; wish there was a swim and bike beforehand to clear out some of the people who were in front of me.

  • Comments: Excellent. Porta potty lines were fast which is most important. Bus shuttle to start worked well. Parking in old town Alexandria is a bit of a challenge, but worked out fine.

  • Comments: The aid stations were 3 miles apart, fine with me. The busses were crowded and even with the last minute arrivals we started only 2 or 3 minutes late. I wonder if I could push this pace, at points I felt I was working for the 8:05, but then was able to find more. Maybe next year I really think about racing!

  • Comments: A lot more people this year (the race sold out) but still quite small by comparison with races like Cherry Blossom. Still a gorgeous course, and the day was perfect for racing: overcast, with a slight drizzle at a couple of points. Improved on last year's time by almost 5 minutes, so I'm very happy.

  • Comments: No outhouses on the course and only three water stations and a fourth around mile 9, with no gatorade. I felt dehydrated and I think that made my stomach worse.
