  • Comments: This is a keeper on the schedule. They do a good job here. Two points of irritation for me. The overly congested swim, and the do not pass zone at the end of the bike. Otherwise, this is easily the best run sprint that I have attended. Got a great shirt, a pair of Yankz (awesome) and a very cool medal. All very much appreciated.

  • Comments: One of the best run races I've been to ... there was a problem with the computer program + timing chip data that truncated the awards ceremenoy, but they handled it in stride. The volunteer support was absolutely incredible. Couple of friends won hardware: 3rd fastest women's time + AG as well as top 10 AG, etc. Looking forward to doing this race again next year.

  • Comments: I am proud that I have completed my first Triathlon and will sign up for more. I really enjoyed the race and the environment, so many friendly people. I am sometimes too critical on things I do, so I will always look for ways to improve, but I made myself enjoy what I had accomplished and will remember this for years and years. Thanks to everyone who posts on here..I hardly post, but I read a lot and like to learn from your experinces. Lee

  • Comments: Was not able to race this year since I fell out of the tree, but I did volunteer for the event and worked the transition area. It was great to be there even thought I wasn't racing. That will be next year!

  • Comments: Always a fun race to participate. The new transition area is GREAT! In my opinion, the swim course is a tad longer than it seemed. The "No Passing Zone" is annoying at best even though it was created for safety issues. The running course was reversed from last year's run course which was fun and refreshing.

  • Comments: This is the first time I have done this race. I knew it would be a good one and the people that put the race on did a terrific job. The race goodies were cool (stretchy laces with the race logo on them and other stuff). I was very happy to win 1st in my group. It is definately a motivator!

  • Comments: I love this race. The tri club does this once a year and they put a lot of effort into doing it right. Someone even scraped the goose poop off of the transition area before the race. You've got to appreciate that kind of attention to detail.

  • Comments: The water was disgusting - my jersey is stained from the water (gross!!). Other than that, a good race. I can't believe I was 12th in my age group on the bike - that's crazy! Okay - for other people that probably not a big deal - but that's definately good for me! :) Good race, I think I'm making progress - yeah! On a side note - this was Kirk's first race and he liked it. We've been talking about the race a lot since yesterday and he's ready to do another one! Yeah!!! :)

  • Comments: First, this was my 2nd tri and I beat my goal of 1hr 30min by 4min 50sec. I also knocked 24 minutes off my first tri at Indian Springs which had a shorter bike course. So, I have to thank my good friend Tony H. (my unofficial official coach) for helping me with a good training plan and making adjustments when the rest of my life got in the way. This race has really got me pumped up for my third tri, an Oly at Disney, next month. It was good to see Don, Kelly, and Greg as well as make some new friends. Oh, I almost forgot, congrats to Kelly on taking home the hardware, #1 in her group! After participanting in 2 tris and watching some others, I have to say the Tri-Peachtree City club put on the best race I have seen. It was awesome. It was very well organized, smiling volunteers, great music and post race activities.

  • Comments: Best one I've done yet! Great volunteers and plenty of them, too! Fantastic crowd support - the finishing chute was lined with spectators and it felt great to run through them all while they were cheering me on. I was glad that both my parents were able to make it down, even though my mother was having some problems with her knee that morning. She hadn't been to one of my races yet this year, and didn't recognize me as I ran past her in the run from swim/bike even though I yelled her name as I ran past. She looked startled when she saw me! It was a blast, and if given the chance, I'd register again in a heart beat AND sing the National Anthem again!

  • Comments: The best organized tri event that I have participated this season. Bravo to the race director and her entire team. I am in favor with the staggered swim start -- never liked massive wave starts.

  • Comments: I have mixed feelings about this race. I beat my previous best, my first and only previous triathlon in May, by 33 minutes. Despite equipment failure, I came close to my stated goal of 1:30. But mentally I knew I could do this race much faster and I am disappointed in my swim and in my run effort.
