  • Comments: Definitely recommend. If you're running sub-8 miles, it shouldn't be too crowded. There are more than 30,000 runners, so you'll never be alone. Great atmosphere. Very packed at the start.

  • Comments: It's an event race. with 40, 000 people running it shouldn't be considered an "A" race.

  • Comments: Really nice race. I'ts very straight in in general downhill and so you can get a nice fast time. It's a bit crowded in a few places however and could be a bit frustrating if you're chasing a particular time.

  • Comments: I suppose the race actually was on time, but it was 45 minutes before my group crossed the start line. And again, I went with the wrong group! But always a fun event during the run itself...not so fun at start and finish with the crowds. A good way to get in a long run.

  • Comments: The race itself is nice and fast oood vibe and scenery. the post events were not very good, and they really slacked on what the runners get....we only got a shirt....in years past we got a whole bunch of stuff.....oh well at least the medal was nice...haha

  • Comments: Leave car by 7 am and board subway. We left house around 5:20 and arrived at 6:35, plenty of time to use potty and meet up with friends.

  • Comments: Please, please, please do something different at the beginning and end of the race. too damn crowded at the beginning. Seriously crowded. Then again at the end - either move the water inside the finish area - away from the Finish Line or hand out the water immediately upon finishing the race. Everyone gets jammed together. Other than that - terrific race, that was pretty well organized.

  • Comments: I wish they'd had more music at the end. The musicians on the course were great- favorite was Paint it Black by the Kimmel. But we weren't inspired to stay at the end very long.

  • Comments: My only complaint on the race itself would be the port-o-potty lines which were really long. The start seemed well-organized which was appreciated. It was also helpful to have the fire hydrants on to run through to help keep cool.

  • Comments: Pros: Fire hydrants on spray every couple city blocks Lots of aid stations, plenty of water and gatorade Porta pots every few miles Cons: Traffic after the race!!!

  • Comments: If you don't mind running with 30k people this really isn't a bad race at all..very well organized...could use about another 100 port a potties but hey, that's small stuff...post race food was good and I was able to exit and get back to my car easily...

  • Comments: Long lines at race start for portapotties but other than that it was good....a little too hot. should not drink beer or eat heavy after a race. water and sushi are good.

  • Comments: I enjoy this race and this course. Conditions were tough today, but that's just the way it goes sometimes--nothing against the race itself, as they went to great measure to adjust (e.g., opened fire hydrants along the course). I'll run this one again, just not two weeks after a marathon PR.

  • Comments: Total madness afterwards trying to find my wife, her sister, and the rest of the family that either competed or supported. Took longer to find them than to run the race! Overall, a fun experience. Will do it again.

  • Comments: The course is not very attractive, especially compared to Cherry Blossom in DC. The weather also made it crummy, overcast and raining on and off. It was amazing to see SO MANY RUNNERS! Glad I did it, but probably won't do this race again.
