  • Comments: Awesome race to do! Lots of music being played (both recorded and live) which helped make the race go quick. Plenty of official drink stations along with many kind spectators handing out water of their own and ice. Props to the people who put this race on! I will definitely do this race again next year!

  • Comments: As always this race is just fun. The crowd support is amazing and really makes this an excellent race. Being on the fourth most people are in good spirits and are there to really have a good time..it's not as serious as other races.

  • Comments: I've run this race for probably 15 years, but last year was the first time I qualified for TG-1b. They messed up the timing mats last year (and I broke my toe two days before the race!), so I didn't get timed. I'm really glad everything went ok today!

  • Comments: Had a great time today. The weather was perfect and I looked forward to running the P'tree after a long hiatus. As today's run plan called for a 5 mile tempo run, with 3 miles @ 9:16 pace or faster, I couldn't have asked for a better context. Being in TG 6 meant I had no way of starting out too fast, but it did mean a fair amount of bobbing and weaving as the run progressed. And being in TG 6 also meant a LONG wait to cross the "Start" line. The race started @ 7:30AM; I crossed the "Start" line at 8:16. The first mile WAS slow, but then things opened up enough to be able to pick up the pace to where I needed to be; I accomplished my goal and then just enjoyed the rest of the run to Piedmont Park. Once in the park, I grabbed my t-shirt and walked over to the "T" balloon to try and connect with the NAMC/BT crew.   • Comments: Usually I walk away from Peachtree swearing up and down that "this is my last year for a while" .. well, with this years weather and results, it's hard to say anything negative. Good race today.

  • Comments: The Peachtree is not an event per se -- you are not going to set a PR here unless you are a Kenyan -- but an event to do with your friends. That said, I am happy with my times - both of them!

  • Comments: The Peachtree Road race is always a highlight on the calander. However, this year will be my last until the 2008 race. I am going to take 2007 off. I'll still register 'just in case', but I feel that it would be best if I spent my 4th differently next year. It's one of my faviorite holidays of the year, so it's time to treat it like that.

  • Comments: This is not a race for the serious runner. If you are serious, then submit your times and get in the early sections with the serious runners. This is just a tradition for the 4th to work up a sweat so we can eat whatever we like for the rest of the day. Sometimes it is nice just to do a race for fun and not be so stressed out about your finish time.
