  • Comments: I'd do this one again. I was psyched and at the same time apprehensive about the surf. But I wish that I had taken that challenge on more directly.

  • Comments: This race wasn't bad, although I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner if they're not comfortable with the swim, given the choppy conditions.

  • Comments: Good local race. Did this last year, and I think this year was better run, and the run course layout of finishing on the beach was great. I'll likely do this again next year.

  • Comments: Great way to end my first season of racing. Placed 3rd in my age group and took home my first medal! Felt really good about my run and bike, so its something to build on going into next year.

  • Comments: Overall, an incredibly positive 1st tri experiece. I'm hooked. The adrenoline at the finish is worth getting there. Glad I did this, and it won't be the last one. Thats for sure. Worked my a** off to get to this point, and I'm not giving any of it back. Looking forward to a full 2011 season, and more races & fun.

  • Comments: I really like this race and they do a great job organizing it. However, the roads for the bike course really need to be redone. That's my only complaint. The conditions were much better than last year, but I did improved my time from last year by 6:40! I figured I was going to improve, but didn't plan on shaving off that much time. I'm happy with my results, but was most happy that my brother came to watch. Its the first triathlon he's ever been to and he told me he has a new respect for what I do and for triathlons, which made me very happy to hear to say the least. :)

  • Comments: This was my first Tri, so hard to judge. Registration line was very long and delayed race start. Fortunatey, I was very early and had no issue. The race itself seemed very organized. Bike course was well marked, run was fun on the beach.

  • Comments: Weather put a bit of a damper on this, but since it was my first tri, I don't have much to compare. Total time of 1:27 was about 12 minutes slower than my goal, but overall, I had a great time and can't wait until next season!

  • Comments: I really had a lot of fun at this race. It was awesome to have all my training/NM (North East Multi Sport, coming soon!) friends and my Dad racing. Rob made the event extra special with his late start/going with the wrong wave. Its definitely too bad the timing didn't get documented, but thought it was a great race overall.

  • Comments: i got chilly waiting for the start that was set for 12:00 but the 1st wave didn't go off until 12:35. There was some kind of technical difficulties with the timing chips that prevented the recording of transition times which was disappointing. other than these two issues i enjoyed myself and will do it again next year.

  • Comments: Overall, it was a pretty well organized race. Lots of volunteers and course was layed out and marked well (aside from that one turn on the bike). I would reccomend and run this race again.
