If it was Baseball they would have had an ambulance drive onto the field and the player would be on the DL for a week.
hmmmm... not so fast on the baseball players there, Rick. They take 95 mile an hour fastballs to the body (and usually just walk it off ), foul tips directly to the ankle (again, just a quick walk around the batter’s box then back in there ) collisions at home plate (no pads ), spikes to the leg at second, running full speed into walls (outfield ) or guardrails (foul balls ) and they play a grueling 162 game season – many with lagging injuries. They're pretty tough. They suck up their fair share of pain. |
