That is way, way too early for a Saturday!  Lots of training here but on a more relaxed schedule. AM 1:15 run with some fartlek pickups thrown in. First real attempt at speedwork in months, for various reasons. Nothing hurt but boy did it feel like running through quicksand!  PM 3800m of swimming, mostly IM and 200's. Trying to get in some distance as school pool unavailable due to meets next week and gym pool is always a crap-shot as there's no lap lane. Plus 30 minutes of strength training after run. Ready for bed!

Just Loaded the car and am downing a quick Coffee before heading out for Bike class, 2hrs on the trainer, and then 1hr Core and stretch. I am going to give My new tri bike shoes a go to see if I have the cleats setup right.

Have a great day all

Going for a 68 mile bike ride today followed by a 6 mile run. Going to head to the pool for some relaxed laps afterwards and just run a LOT of drills, toy around with my technique a little bit.

trying to keep the yardage above 10k a week so just planning on 2500 today and finish it up on Sunday.

Did my second run since surgery.  Starting over now, but hey, I slogged through 3 miles.

I just finished a 40 mile trainer ride.  Tomorrow I catch a plane for the west coast where it should be sunny and 71 when I get to the hotel.

Taper!  My fave… (HM tomorrow)

And can I say how envious I am of those who can work out outside all year, having just come back to MA from a week in FL?  Smile

Double brick in the garage.  45 min trainer-20 min run-30 min trainer-20 min run.  Surprised my legs felt as good as they did.

It certainly was a super-dee-duper day.  Ran a 10k this morning.  It was very windy but I was really happy with my race.  Since today was supposed to be a long run day I got in another 5 mile run later in the afternoon.  I've got a HM coming up in two weeks and today was a great confidence booster.

An hour in the pool in the morning.

Then four hours on the trainer this afternoon.  The weather forecast for Seattle area kept calling for winds and rain, and the weather radar kept showing rain coming, but just looking out the window it was fine.  I've fallen for that before, though.  I remember one time getting 20 miles away and calling my wife to pick me up because it was just unsafe in the rain and gloom to be riding on the shoulder.  So I caught up on "Touch" season 2 and watched almost 2 episodes of "The Following.  I took about 4.5 hours to actually do the four hour ride.  I tend to get off the bike for a little while every 30 minutes just to maintain sanity.
