Believe me, it doesn't taste like bark. Shredded wheat n Bran definitely does. I felt enlightened.

With a bunch of blueberries thrown on top it's heaven.  I love it.  They sell the double box at Sam's. I also loved their mini wheats-type cereal.  A nice change when I get sick of the crunch.

It's very good.  Although I prefer the Go Lean Kashi regular cereal becuase it has less calories than the crunchy stuff.  It's still tasty!

Oh ick! Captain Crunch! OK I don't really eat that but I do miss it. I have whole grain bread and egg whites with cheese for breakfast.

We've been a Power Breakfast family for a while. My wife brought home a box of the Kashi Go Lean Crunch last night and I looked at it askew. I'll give it a shot now.

I like Go Lean, and Natures Path Optimum.  Raisin Bran and Cheerios also are still Favorites.   I can't believe I grew up eating Rice Krispies with 3-4 scoops of sugar.  And than have sugar left over in the bowl, after I slurped the milk.

I bought a box of the Go Lean Crunch, and didn't have any of it for 2 weeks and by the time I got back to it there was a congealed mess of flakes and leaves and twigs and whatever else is in there. I would've had to knock it apart with a meat cleaver or a hammer if I wanted to finish it.

The Go Lean Crunch is our backup when we don't make our own cereal. I had some this morning with blueberries.

2- Where can I get some good cereal/granola recipes that don't break my calorie bank!?!?

Here is our recipe from my wife:

Granola

Preheat oven to 400 F

1. Start with the basics:

4 cups old-fashioned oats, put in a glass baking dish
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
½ cup honey, added with the oil in a small bowl or cup

2. Add ¼ cup each of your choice to the baking dish:

Nuts (i.e. cashew pieces or almond slices), dried fruit (such as raisins, dates, banana chips or apricots), unsweetened coconut, seeds (i.e. flax, sunflower, pumpkin). Be creative!

3. Add any flavors that you choose to the honey & olive oil:

1 Tbsp black strap molasses
1 tsp cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, carob powder and/or cocoa powder

4. Pour your flavor mixture onto the oats and stir until coated

5. Bake at 400 uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir well, then bake another 5 minutes

6. Tastes great with cow, soy or rice milk
