USAT Rankings (or lack of)

I believe they do publish final year end rankings, but they also have a search page on their website that allows you to look up results for any race.  They intend for it to be up to date but have been unable to load races all year.  In mid-July they appologized and guesstimated that by mid-August they would be caught up, but still nothing.

Using the tool allows one to compare their ranking event by event.

From the website:

Due to technical problems with the rankings software we have been unable to successfully upload many of the 2008 races. A technician has been working diligently to solve these problems. Once the program is debugged we will load all formatted races at the rate of 40+ per day.

If your races are currently not showing on the search page, please check back in a few weeks. The races should be up by mid-August.

Yes, that is the note I have read since Mid-July.  In May and June a different note was present.  My interst is in hearing if others are also growing tired of waiting.

Not really.  I'm not that high in rankings and I usually only check them at the end of the year. 

If you live in the mid-Atlantic region (according to USAT's break-up) and in particular, have raced at least 3 races within the region, you can find out where you stand within the region here http://www.lin-mark.com/new_rank/index.asp (lin-mark is the major timing company in NJ in particular).  They do list New England here as well, but they didn't seem to have anything for this year, but I didn't look closely at it.  Their scores can vary a bit from the final USAT numbers (they may have a different system), but it will at least give you an idea and also serve as a confirmation of having completed 3 races (though if you race outside of M.A. region, say IMLP, it won't show up here as NY is in New England).

You might want to check further.  I raced age group the whole year instead of clyde just to make sure that I would get ranked (just for fun, no championship stuff for me).  But as I looked at my races I continually see another competitor listed in age group though I know he raced Clyde.  I was also told by USAT that they base the rankings on Age regardless of Clyde status within the race.  It may be up to the race director to send in your name based on age and maybe the director incorrectly screened out the Clydes. (or something else)
