When our twins were babies/toddlers we'd haul them to the local Y with us....and they'd get the usual attention that multiples get, and we'd get the usual , "I don't know how you deal with two at once". Then a woman started schlepping triplets into the same building......we eventually became friends with her and shared stories and wonders of watching multiples interact with each other.....and we'd tell her, as others had done with us, "I have no idea how you deal with 3 babies". One day we were watching the kids and just BS'ing when she said, "I have no idea how people deal with quads". LOL Prepare to be amazed!! Life is so excellent! She was 30 weeks and was admitted with preeclampsia a few days ago and things moved pretty quickly yesterday, but all my girls are doing great this morning! Kate, 8:14 pm, 3lbs 0.6oz, 16" APGAR scores were 8-9 and all were pink and crying when they came out. No vent required, no indications of any intrusive procedures required. Sitting here waiting for updates from my daughter before I head to the hospital. We were all up pretty late last night. Let the spoiling begin! |
