I like the feeling of a good training day, hate the feeling of bad ones!
I am ultra competitive .... one of my faults (or strengths depending on the situation ). So if I almost always need to race. But if I am not doing well in the racing I hate it. If you look at my marathon RR from Oct. for my only marathon you can see that.
I used to race two sometimes three days a week when I was a USCF racer. After years of that I just got so burned out (and my performance was seriously falling off because of life and lack of motivation ) I just quit the sport completely. Not a good place to be ....... |
