What do you find more attractive? A really slender guy such as a "typical" Iron man physique? Or a guy with some muscle mass. I know some muscle is subjective. Let's say a guy you can tell works out with weights when he has a dress shirt on..

Ladies Only please....

The latter.  My husband is 5'10" and 200 pounds - lots of muscle in the shoulders/biceps and thick legs.  YUM!!!

Give me the athletic build (think soccer player) over the skinny distance runner look any day.  Not a fan of the starved  look.

Not a lady but the answer is easy; some will prefer the former and some the latter. What constitutes and attractive physique will vary based on the eye of the beholder. The real question is; why would you care what some of the ladies prefer? Based on their opinions would you purposely try to change your physique because of that?

Coke or Pespi?

Ferrari or Porsche?

Armstrong or Contador?

It takes all kinds and everyone's taste are different.

Frankly, I just prefer a guy that is fit and has a healthy lifestyle, be it "endurance" or "strength" . I'm fond of muscle, but that doesn't mean the guy has to be a huge weightlifter.  One of the things I think is nice about triathlete guys is that, from my observations, many are not "just sticks" but have some well defined muscle. You can't do all that swimming and biking without building some good shoulders and legs!

Solid Character/morals + fit and healthy + good personality = attractive in my books

I'd much prefer lean muscle over bulky muscle.  However, I'm thinking of a build more like Andy Potts than skinny (like a marathoner.)

I like the runner/soccer leg types.  I hate guys that have all this mucle in their arms and then have twiggy sticks for legs.  That bothers me.  Nothing is more attractive than good muscular quads...mmm.....

So I vote for "a little bit of muscle" but only if it's evenly distributed.

Personally, I prefer a little meat. They don't have to be huge body builders but a little weight training goes a long way, IMHO.

Amen, sister.  I love a guy with big legs and a booty.  A buttless man will never get a second glance from me.  Skinny guys just don't get me revved up in the least.  Slightly off topic, but don't even get me started on the metrosexual revolution.  Not a fan.

I like broad shoulders (but not too bulky), defined abs and muscular but not huge legs, and I have noticed lots of male triathletes have this look. Its lean, but with enough muscle to look ripped. Perfect!

Again, I don't think it is all that relevant. Most of my tri female friends and some of the none triathlete ones usually express how much eye candy there is in triathlon events for them ranging from pros to AGers and that's because in general many triathletes have athletic physiques (lean, abs, defined muscles, balance between upper and lower body, etc) due to the swim + bike + run training when compared to other endurance sports such as cyclism or long distance running. And even if all the BT gals prefer an Abercrombie model or buff bufferman type I don't think it is all that important unless you are uncomfortable with yourself...

Ok, I was just checking because earlier today you posted this on another thread: "I say weight train for many reason.  Plus it will get you more action from girls...What more do you really need?  I personally dont want a boys body as a grown man!!!"

But I am glad you are happy. Maybe if I start having trouble getting any from the gf and become single again I might have consider some of the opinions on this thread... on a second thought, naaa, I don't care; I'll just have to risk it or become a monk

It's all good in my book!!!!

I'm typically sold on a guy's personality first... assuming he is relatively attractive and a healthy weight.

I have dated tall slender guys, muscular guys, etc.

If you can also establish that you're not a metro, you score double bonus points.

x3... it wasn't really addressed in the OP, but if a mega hot body contains a total d-bag the hotness becomes completely obsolete.

All physical types can be appealing for me, as long as they are connected to themselves physcially.  Even padded can be fine.  It's more important to me that the guy inhabit his body well.  Know what I mean?  So many people just seem disconnected from their bodies.  But watching someone physical who is...IN his body (I don't know of a better way to put it) is what's most sexy to me.  Even atheltes sometimes don't get there.  If you've got that, shape almost doesn't matter.

+1000

I have always been a fan of the soccer legs, strong hands, nicely defined arms.  I don't like a guy so bulky he can't wipe his own a$$...but a little meat on the bones is nice
