People need to keep in mind she has always been an awesome swimmer and seems to have focused on technique and flexibility to post these remarkable times. Three cheers for Dara !!!!!! |

She is truely inspiring! I read that she is voluntering for additional drug testing to show she doesn't use performance enhancing drugs and to prevent the whispers that she endured in 2000. Noone will be able to say she is using something now! |

She's going above and beyond, because she knows the spectre of suspicion is out there. Also, ask yourself this: why would she unretire yet again just to cheat? She has a stellar reputation...tons of medals over 4 previous Olympics. She also had plenty of money. So, why risk it? |

Barry Bonds was pretty much a sure-fire Hall of Famer before he was suspected of cheating. Roger Clemens was certainly close. Both had more money than they could reasonably spend. If either did in fact cheat, why? My answer is that hyper-competitive people have to win, and will do whatever it takes to do so. The blood samples being frozen for future drug tests is pretty compelling for the argument that she is clean. Good for her for being proactive. |
