Hey everyone,

I completed my first Tri yesterday at Callaway Gardens. It was a blast. Finished in 2:34:11, placed 367 out of 412. Can't wait to spring to do another on. I would appreciate some tips on doing things faster in the trans area . Thanks, Norman

Congratulations!

Practice is the key to getting better in transitions.  Keep your eye out for Marvanett (Dan Arnett) posting about transition clinics at all3sports.  I don't know if there are any scheduled, but something like that will help a lot.

Here is a TOTW from a month ago:

Whoo, congratulations!  My transition tips are all in the TOTW that Doug linked to.  And, avoid clothing changes and put as much stuff as possible on you bike ahead of time (gu, drink bottles, garmin, etc).

Congratulations on your first tri.  Calloway has a beautiful course so you picked a great race to starts with.
