Soma - -Slip-n-slide finish

Hope it works out better than it did at PBR!  When I got done and tried to do it, it was more like a jump'n'flop.  There was some water issue going on.  When they did the raffle for the guitar later they had someone standing over it with a hose and it was working much better.  It appeared it wasn't getting enough water down it to make it slippery enough.

Oh it is SO ON!

By the time that I finish the race, theyll be out of water.

PBR, was fun having the slide at the end... however, mountian bikers are a more relaxed group compared to Roadies. I wonder how many will actually use the slide?

I can't promise a slide, but I may try a 'flop and crawl' - does that count?

I have not done a slip and slide since I was 8. I am so there. Now that will be a great finish line photo.

Man, I was just going to post about this, you beat me to it! Sounds like the best way to finish a triathlon to me!

Can I bring my kids and dogs down the finish slide with me? 

If I flop and plop I am going to be p*ssed.  So they had better have that fire hose a goin to help propell my arse down that thing!

I'm not doing it if the water is yellow.

Now I just need to remember to toss my fuel belt before I jump so I don't impale myself on the bottles!!

I hope I have enough energy to get up on it.

Awesome, that was a refreshing finish at the PBR. I love things like this that take some of the seriousness out and make it more fun!
